MEET OUR HEAD OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT DENNIS TREACY

INSIDE THE DEN HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT

At C.O.D.E. Sports Academy our student athletes experience a high powered learning environment where academic and athletic excellence are achieved by way of our customized flexible scheduling, which helps our student athletes to balance their time efficiently with school, practice, training and home.  Our elite hockey and goaltending training programs are designed for players from grade 1-12 who desire to improve their skills and physical strength resulting in increased confidence to succeed as a player at the next level.

Our hockey athletes train for one hour on ice three times per week with one hour of in season dryland training and one hour of athletic therapy.  Parents love our model as they are free for homework and family time during the evenings aside from their team practices and games.  With the ability to adapt and make adjustments we will alter our schedule which may result in program changes such as reduced ice session when in season and increase in season drylands sessions.  If an athlete is injured we can focus our attention on giving them physiotherapy and athletic trainer support reducing their ice time and dryland training with focus on getting our athletes back to play.

WE PROMOTE AN ALL INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH ACADEMICS AND ATHLETICS!!!

INSIDE THE DEN HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT

Introducing C.O.D.E. Sports Academy Hockey Training Program.

Inside The Den is Toronto's premier skating and skill development system. The innovative teaching methods are the creation of Dennis Treacy, widely considered one of the top skills coaches in all of Canada. Dennis' ability to apply game situation training to his clients is unparalleled, and his progressive way of thinking has been changing the scope of hockey development for years.

Dennis moves around the ice with flawless skating and edge control which he can easily translate to his client base. Having the foot-work capabilities to demonstrate what he is saying is a service that not many in this industry can provide.

Dennis possesses elite stick skills and shooting techniques which he easily translates to all ages and skill levels - he has the ability to show an NHLer what he wants him to do with the puck , all the while being able to train a minor hockey player on shooting releases or stickhandling methods. Dennis is often praised by his clients at the Pro and Major Junior/NCAA ranks due to his ability to demonstrate what he's teaching.

Dennis will be working alongside multiple trainers as C.O.D.E Hockey Development focuses on giving our hockey athletes various options from experienced guest instructors.  Here are a few of our guest instructors…..
