David Joseph, a prominent Canadian basketball coach, has had a distinguished career marked by success at various levels of the sport. Originally hailing from Trinidad and Tobago, Joseph made his mark in the basketball world after moving to Canada in the 1970s at the age of 12. Despite initially being a soccer player, he transitioned to basketball and excelled on the court, particularly during his high school years at Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute and Jarvis Collegiate Institute in Toronto.
Known for his athleticism and dunking prowess despite his height of just under 6 feet, Joseph quickly rose to prominence in the Toronto high school basketball scene.
